Extreme Summer Challenge June 1st through July 31

We challenge you to keep your mind in shape this summer.  Log in to Lexia and Zearn to exercise your mind, grow your knowledge, and WIN PRIZES!

Top District Lexia and Zearn user for each grade level: K, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 will win a bike.  (One Lexia and One Zearn winner per grade level).

Top six schools for Lexia and/or Zearn usage and growth will win a “Bounce House” for a day.

Top 30 Students from each school will earn a Pizza Party in the fall.

Each participating student will earn a certificate and treat in the fall when they return from summer break.

Please encourage your child to work independently on each program, so they can show what they know.

-Visit Pasco Libraries.  Access these apps online or on a smartphone or tablet for FREE!  CloudLibrary, Beanstack, Sora, or Use your student ID or lunch number to check out library books & movies, and to access ebooks & audiobooks!  Read ebooks and listen to audiobooks for free with the Sora App and cloudLibrary!  Join the Summer Reading Challenge and other fun challenges with Beanstack!  Visit your local library branch for Summer Reading Activities and Events!

-Literacy At Home: Join the Pasco County Libraries Summer Reading Challenge; The Summer Reading Bingo Challenge; do 20-30 Minutes of Lexia Core 5 per week; work on Lexia At Home Activities; Read daily 20-30 minutes! Don’t forget about Sunshine State Book list!

-Math at Home, Zearn and Learn. For our Kindergarten through 2nd grade students, we recommend completing 1 Zearn lesson a day!  For our 3rd through 5th grade students, we recommend 2 lessons a day!  Our teachers have assigned important lessons that are pivotal for your student’s math learning in the fall, so Zearn and Learn!
