The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a team of people representing various segments of the community–parents, teachers, students, administrators, support staff, business/ industry people and other interested community members.
SAC must be composed of the principal and an “appropriately balanced” number of “stakeholders.” These individuals must be representative of the ethnic, racial and economic makeup of the community served by the school.
We have a dynamic team of staff members, parents, community members, and business partners on our School Advisory Council for the 2021-22 school year. Meeting times are once a month, and meetings generally last an hour or less. You are welcome to attend any meeting as a guest, but only members have voting privileges. We will announce the times of meetings via Oakstead’s family calendar.
Please email Candy Nagy (cnagy@pasco.k12.fl.us), if you are interested in nominating yourself for SAC next year or if you would like more information. Thank you!
