Dear OES Families,
We wanted to let you know of important changes to our student dismissal procedures, which will be implemented beginning the first week of school. These updates are being made to enhance student safety and ensure a smooth and secure end-of-day process.
Key Changes Include:
- All Otter Runners must be completed by 2pm. Any changes to the way your student(s) is going home needs to be done by our Otter Runner system and completed by 2pm so we can ensure all our staff members are aware of the changes. You will find the link on our homepage.
- All early sign-outs must be completed by 3pm. Any students needing to leave before the end of the day will need to do so before 3pm. We will not be signing students out after this time.
Why These Changes Matter: The safety of our students is our top priority. These new procedures are designed to reduce congestion, improve supervision, and ensure that every child is dismissed in a safe and orderly manner.
We kindly ask all families to carefully review and follow the updated dismissal guidelines. Adhering to these procedures is essential for the safety and well-being of all students. Staff will be available to assist during the transition period, and we appreciate your cooperation and patience.
